Project: Through the Window :: Day 2…

My goodness – I took so many “through the window” photographs today that it is nearly impossible for me to choose just one…or two or three.

None of the photos from today (through the same bedroom window) are particularly creative in composition or perspective (I’ve got to work on that) – but they are so typical of the life and happenings of a summer day on Pollywog Creek that I couldn’t resist.

Before I could do anything about it, four very spunky fox squirrels and a much smaller gray squirrel raided the back yard bird feeder this morning. The gray squirrel apparently had a head start at the feeder…

and just about cleaned it out, as one of the fox squirrels was soon to discover…

The fox squirrels were left with picking through the grass for the leftovers…

sitting on the fence…

playing in the trees…

or just resting…

Late this afternoon, severe thunderstorms blew through…

I’ll refill the bird feeders tomorrow.

For a most inspiring and beautifully spun story about a view through a window and her mother’s perspective, please don’t miss Ann Voskamp’s Choose the View.

Did you post a window view today?
